PatchPlus has contributed subject matter expertise to over 75 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects, achieving an award rate of more than 50% on Phase I and Phase II SBIRs. Our SMEs have provided operational perspective to software developers of innovative capabilities including analytical tools incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning. We've linked users and developers as cutting-edge capabilities are developed supporting Air Force weapons systems, including Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) and Air Operations Centers (AOC). We've bridged user, acquisition and industry communities through knowledge elicitation, use case development, concept and prototype feedback, evaluation plan and metric development as well as transition and marketing strategies.
PatchPlus has performed lifecycle management functions for several programs, interfacing between users and developers on capabilities development, conducting test and evaluation, supporting installation, training users, and delivering tailored user guides, checklists and instructional videos. We have drafted Functional Requirements Documents and contributed to developmental planning (DP) and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development (JCIDS). PatchPlus has facilitated Capability Collaboration Working Groups for Air Force Targeting, Collection Management and Analysis functions, and we have supported the stand-up of the Targeting and GEOINT Program Office.
