
About the Role
As a Joint Interoperability & Data Link Training Center (JID-TC) Training Specialist, you will provide course administration and delivery of courseware to train leaders and JDN operators responsible
for C2 data architecture, management and displays spanning multiple security levels. You will work closely with your team to implement program manager and government client plan of action, collect student performance and feedback, implement course plans and procedures, and execute training events and courses. Responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with the JID to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Updating and implementing JID-TC course plans and annual reviews
Leading/assisting with class set up and tear-down/cleanup
Assigning students to groups, grading homework, and electronically loading/scheduling testing materials
Assisting with the planning and coordination of military training events and course execution
Assisting with Course Administration to include development and maintenance of course schedules, handouts, administrative documents, and student notification and in-processing procedures
Producing graduation certificates and maintain student rosters
Coordinating, taking, and publishing a class photo
Gathering critique analysis data for use in courseware development and maintenance
Documenting student hotwash/feedback, after-action report information, and provide a typewritten, soft-copy of the minutes to the JID-TC director within timelines
Assisting with test question analysis and revision
Assisting with courseware review and standardization
Requirements
Education:
Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years’ experience of which at least 2
years must be specialized developing and providing technical and end-user
training or technical subject matter, or
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years’ experience, of which at least
4 years must be specialized developing and providing technical and
end-user training or technical subject matter; or
No degree and 10 years' experience, of which at least 8 of those are in specialized technical training development and/or providing technical end-user training
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in datalink/network planning and/or design, military staff or operations center experience, or advisory skills on joint military training issues
Experience in joint training and exercises
Ability to maintain courseware in support of training requirements
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, warfighters, business partners and stakeholders
