About the job
Candidates must be able to operationalize their knowledge of the JIP process to reach National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) accreditation standards and to develop certification programs. Assignments will require knowledge of a full range of concepts, principles, and practices in Joint Staff, multi-Command, Service Intelligence Centers, and Combat Support Agencies and skills applying this knowledge to difficult work assignments as applied to JIP.
Candidates will assist in developing new or modified work methods, innovative approaches, and alternative uses of new or available data sources. Innovation, creativity, and a “self-starter” attitude are important.
Candidates must have:
Professional knowledge of a wide-range of all-source intelligence principles, concepts, and techniques to accomplish difficult and complex work assignments
Knowledge of applying NCCA accreditation standards to current and developing certification programs
Ability to apply JIP concepts across the intelligence cycle
Experience working with nationally-accredited credentialing (e.g., certification) programs is a plus, but we will train the right candidates to provide this additional level of expertise as well.

Requirements
Required experience / skills:
Extensive operational experience as a joint intelligence planner (e.g. developing Annex B of operational plans [OPLAN], concept plans [CONPLAN], or parts of the Adaptive Planning and Execution System [APEX] or similar work)
Expert knowledge of DoD processes and terminology
Expert MS Office skills to be used to create a variety of published products
TS/SCI clearance, current SSBI
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ease at supporting and/or representing senior clients at meetings, conferences, working groups, either in support of the client or on their behalf
Highly desired experience / skills:
Experience running the administration of a certification program, preferably a program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
Joint Intelligence Planning – Proficiency Level I (JIP-1) certification
Experience designing curricula for adult learners (e.g., DoD audiences)
Experience performing instruction of both concepts/theory as well as practical application using TTPS, systems, and tools to adult audiences (e.g., DoD audiences)
Familiarity with DoD instructional systems design (ISD) processes
Familiarity with supporting job task analyses (JTAs) to understand the critical tasks related to the performance of a job and translating the technical information in a way that supports the development of a wide range of human capital products (e.g., learning objectives, certifications standards, position descriptions, job qualification checklists)
