About the job
Candidate will collaborate with headquarters and subordinate units to develop and implement new organizational and operational constructs.
Candidate must be able to navigate staffing processes and effectively communicate ideas across a range of organizations in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and will participate in training and tactics development for defensive cyberspace operations forces at the tactical and operational levels.
This position is primarily onsite but may include occasional remote work and, based on the candidate’s qualifications and desires, range from full to part-time.
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Compliance with DoD COVID-19 vaccination requirements
Cyberspace operations, primarily Mission Defense Team (MDT) or Cyber Protection Team (CPT) experience
10 years operational experience and Bachelor's degree or 15+ years experience
Familiarity with engaging multiple DoD agencies / organizations (e.g., SSC, HQ USSF, NRO, Intelligence Community (IC) at multiple levels (e.g., Section, Division, Delta, Directorate and HQ levels)
Understanding of interdependency between requirements, acquisition and budget actions
Self-motivated and innovative problem-solver within existing legal regulations, policies, and directives,
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent Soft skills
USAF Weapons School Graduate or Weapons and Tactics experience
Recent military defensive cyberspace operations experience
Proven network within relevant agencies and communities
Industry security operations center experience
